  1. Surgery 12/12, didn't have to increase my insulin but I'm still on insulin today, when I was in the hospital after surgery and had a blood sugar over 200 I noticed that potassium was hanging for my IV, and guess what's in that with the potassium? Glucose! Duh....... Dorks! So I requested to have it without glucose and then sugars went down after that! I'm currently using less than half what I was on, wish you the best......
  2. Sweet victory today!! Saw someone I haven't seen in about 6 weeks, she didn't recognize me! Make me feel good! Since I don't really see it yet. DOS 12/17/12 223, today 185!!!!

  5. I'm still on insulin, but running 70-90 I meet with the endocrinologist Wednesday, two weeks out from surgery
  6. I too was hoping too not come home on insulin but to no avail I came home on my insulin, however I've cut my insulin use in half! Been running 70-90 now! Have an appointment next week with the endo! Can't wait
  7. I think the worst thing I've heard, well I'm a surgical tech, this cane from a general of course skinny surgeon was all you need to do is close your mouth and exercise! WHAT, did I hear that come out of a highly educated persons mouth??? Before I see any medical person, I will ask around if anyone had heard them make any kind of comments about obese patients, I refuse to pay them one dine of my hard earned fat money! That makes me angry still.

  19. I tried Costco premier chocolate with sugar free caramel coffee syrup, was super yummy! Needed a change!
