For those of you who might be interested there are a couple books you can buy or get for your kindle through Amazon. One is called Mindful Eating by Jan Chozen Bays' date=' MD and the other one is Never Goin' Back by Al Roker from the Today Show (he had gastric bypass, too!) I got them both on my Kindle and hope to start reading this weekend. Check them out! Tell me what you think---but if you read them don't give away the storyline![/quote']

There is also the weight loss surgery for dummies and it is very good and informative. The guy who wrote it has been spot on with me. I downloaded it on my IPad

Welcome! My surgery date was 12/20. Hope you are healing nicely. I have lost about 20 pounds post op and almost 20 pre op. I'm down 38 pounds in a month! Feeling pretty good. Good luck as you continue to loose!

Teresa and Mrs Blues: Congrats on defeating the diabetes issue' date=' yippee!!! Nicole: I'm glad your Dr found out the reason. Hopefully Lactaid does the job :-) Also congrats on your loss already, woohoo!!!

I had bruises around the incision sites. The tools must have been hard at work towards the middle of your stomach :-) lol. On a serious note, hopefully there isn't tenderness in that area too.

No its not tender i am going to do my update video so you all will see it lol oh boy huh lol

My entire belly below my belly bottom was one huge bruise. I also had bruising around each incision. At the bottom of my panni was the worst. I was give blood thinners to prevent clots and must have been very sensitive to it. I was also leaking from one incision and puncture wound from shots. Once the thinners were discontinued the bleeding stopped. Now, one month later all the bruising is gone.

I want cheesy carbs and sweet tea. And soda soooo bad, a nice cold coke.

I would trade my first born for a coke. True story

Lmao Jodi. Pizza, yum, would love it. How have you been doing with liquids Jodi? I hope you're better.

I honestly dont want anything yet. But ready for the cream soups. Cream of broccoli and cream of chicken. Some refried beans will be good too.

After last nights dump, I'm taking it easy tonight. Cream of Broc + protein added. I tried a 1 egg and cheese omelette this morning and I didn't dump, but didn't feel very well after:-( Finished left over chili from Wendy's for lunch and pouch had no issues. It's odd.

I did read that book, Hippie and enjoyed it, very informative! They also have a numerous weightloss surgery cookbooks. I also enjoyed "Okay, I've gone through weight loss surgery, Now What Do I Do..... I love the information out there but I always use this forum for the information my mind needs! Security blanket! LOL Oh Yeah, and that bruise....had one just like yours, my doctor saw it and apologized. Asked him if something got stuck and he used his foot on my stomach for leverage to remove it.....he's got a great sense of humor, too!
