Was gonna start a new thread for UTI sufferers' date=' but just realized it would be a lot of the same people in this group.

(Just kidding--can't believe how many of us have one. Think I will start on the cranberry capsules.)[/quote']

Yeah on the cranberry. Mrs Blues and all else that has aUTI, how badly is it, fever, blood, pain walking, pain doing about any thing really? Mine all of the above. I'm hoping the antibiotics start working. I hate being laid up in bed.crying out when going potty:-( never in my life have I had this!!! Here's hoping for a quicker recovery for all of us sufferers.

Yeah. That's what I've been trying to do. But you said 400-500 cals a week? Did you mean a day?

Yes I did. Gotta proofread my replies. Lol

I had no symptoms except feeling like my pouch was nauseous and not feeling right. But not sure if the UTI caused it. We'll see tomorrow. Hope your antibiotics kick in! Rest and feel better.

Ha! I know, me too! Sometimes the keyboard does it own thing? ;)

Today was kind of a crummy day. Had to wake up extra early for a few Dr. appointments. Since apparently your fertility sky rockets post surgery I decided to get the IUD birth control since it lasts up to 5 years. I'm still in Grad school so the hubs and I wanted to put off starting a family for a few more years anyway. Do any of you out there have the Mirena? Oh my goodness...I was NOT expecting it to be so painful when she put it in!! I cried out "Well, now I know I'm not ready to have a baby!" Hahahah she got a kick out of that. Anyway, the discomfort pretty much lingered throughout the day and felt like wicked intense menstrual symptoms (sorry to the gentlemen on this thread!!)

Tried to nap this afternoon before class since I didn't have to work today, but didn't end up happening. Had class from 5-10pm, and it was one of those nights that draaaaagged. I also forgot to pack my dinner so when I got to class and went to take out my dinner I realized I had forgotten it so I had to dig around for change and get something out of the vending machine...yuck! I was able to find some hummus chips that are relatively healthy, but pretty scarce on the protein side. The dining hall at my University is also seriously lacking in the healthy options which is a bummer.

Anyway, I can't believe I'm still awake at almost midnight considering how tired I've been today.

I intend to sleep in tomorrow, and since we're supposed to be getting a big snow storm here in the Northeast I may not even leave my pajamas! Thanks for letting me vent, ya'll.

Call or go back sounds like more than a uti. Perhaps went to kidney. Like pyelonephritis or something.

I was totally amazed today, Went back to the doctors because this bronchitis has just been a booger (no pun intended) to get over. Gave me another antiobiotic (Clarithromycin) to take in addition to the Ciprofloxacin because Cipro needs to be taken for the UTI which is still present but better..... I was also given a steroid injection and a prescription for a Medrol pack (which I thought we couldn't take in an oral form). So I called the surgeon's office when I got home and was given permission to take them. Nice to know that if needed oral steroids can be taken. For all those out there and suffering, I hope it doesn't take long for you to feel better!
