Burning Pouch Pain

For the past week everything I eat and drunk feels like it is scalding my pouch. I haven't been able to eat or drink much because of this. I take an acid reducer everyday but I am getting afraid of an ulcer. Has anyone had an ulcer post op and if so what did it feel like and what did they do to test and to treat?

Are you taking Pepcid? I have to take one twice a day per my Dr. I'd call your dr.

Yes well I take omeprazole

I am going to call my doc on Monday but increased dosing may work

You should call your surgeon...maybe the omeprazole isn't working for you now and you need a different med.

Might want to personal message lebim I know she has had ulcers.. May give you an idea
