I use to take it in college. Tried to start it again but it was making me sick. Are you starting to take it? I never had a problem with it the first 3 years I took it.

Oh really! And yes I just wanted to make sure it was safe to take after I had gastric bypass

Is it a pill? Because you should not take pills for BC after surgery.

Why shouldn't you take bc pills after surgery? I was told you after to wait a month.

Birth control pills are absorb through the stomach, so if you have gastric bypass surgery the pill is no longer effective as well as more women becoming more fertile after survey. They have a few post on here about it and some women who have also gotten pregnant after surgery. You can also search the Internet about it too.
