Most people say around 3-5 mins between sips. It will get better though. I'm 4mnths out, and I still have problems on some days.

So u still wait 3-5 minutes between sips

Water is pretty much the only thing I can do like I did pre-op. I can drink a bottle of water in a normal amount of time. I just still dont like the taste...or lack there of.. always add something.. my favorite is green tea peach mango by crystal light. Probably started around 2 months post op I could drink "normally"

No, I'm able to drink normally now.

I'm 4 months out and Water still feels like bricks stacking up with heavy pressure. Sometimes I cheat and use a straw which makes it better.

Hate Water.... I think more now that its a constant in my life. I find that I can take regular drinks, but every once in a while it hurts. I do 4 water bottles and # them in the morning.

BUT yesterday I had the worst water day since surgery:( I only drank half of water bottle #1 I was so busy all day with work for end of month, the all the activities for Halloween with my daughter. BUT I'm feeling it now I feel like crap super thirsty can't drink big drinks and yes I'm sure dehydrated. Looks like Powerade zero for me :(

Minute maid makes a several drinks that are only 15 cals/8oz serving. They're a life saver when I'm tired of water.

I have Mio. Sure helps me.
