If you're hungry, eat. Your body needs to heal and you need nourishment to do that. Normally hunger doesn't recede until restriction has started, and that's probably not happening until your fill. So until then, moderate what you eat, but don't keep yourself from eating because you believe you shouldn't be doing it. Especially not while you're healing. :)

What helped my hunger was creamed soups and protein shakes. You still are freshly banded. Your stomach has to heal so try to stay with liqueds just improvise. How about Campbell Selects soups they are pretty good. Hang in there it will all be worth it....Keep us posted. Kelley

Hi Christine and welcome to the board. Congratulations on your new journey. You are 2 weeks post op, I would think that full liquids would be ok now, creamy Soups (strained of course), oatmeal, Protein shakes. Hope this helps. Good luck!!:biggrin1:

Hi everyone,

I just want to say I'm doing really good. Weighed myself today and all together I lost 30 lbs. I'm starting to feel good about myself.

If have a question. Anyone that had the Lap Band surgery in Boston can you let me know what your doctor's name is? My Operation Manager's, close friend is starting the process and her Primary care doctor is at Mount Auburn. I told her about this Web Site and how great it is. Please let me know.

Thanks

Chris
