Hi everyone I has my surgery on 1/22. I'm still on liquids and my Dr said that I have to wait till the next vist to start eating solid. My appointment is 3/12. That is for my first fill. Right now I'm always hungry after an hour. I try to drink alot of water but my stomach keeps growling what should I do. Please help.:cry

I just want to say I'm doing really good. Weighed myself today and all together I lost 30 lbs. I'm starting to feel good about myself.

If have a question. Anyone that had the Lap Band surgery in Boston can you let me know what your doctor's name is? My Operation Manager's, close friend is starting the process and her Primary care doctor is at Mount Auburn. I told her about this Web Site and how great it is. Please let me know.

Hi Chris.

I was banded in Boston @ BIDMC. My Surgeon is Dr. Schneider - He and his staff are great!! Here is a thread for BIDMC

btw - i would not suggest Faulkner Hospital b/c their WLS program is very new and my PCP stressed she didn't want me going to a place just starting out. i dunno!
