Question About Post Op Complications

Now that the anesthesia has worn off as well as the PCA pump I have extreme shoulder pain. Haven't been able to sleep, roxicete doesn't touch it, its my left shoulder. Anyone else have this problem

    I had the same thing, it was gas...took a few days to get better. Hope you are well soon. Walk as much as you can!

    I had that too in my left shoulder. It was so uncomfortable. The pain mess helped and so did walking.

    Ask your doc for a different pain med. Maybe the one you're using isn't the best for your body. I didn't have gas pains but, I have a high tolerance for pain (so I've been told) but, I know many have and walking helps it move along and out of your system. Hope you feel better soon!
