Blood work

** these must be done within 30 days of surgery**

Appointment with IVC filter doctor

IVC filter placed 3 days before surgery

Pick up incentive spirometer and surgery bag

    How is everyone doing?

    I'm doing terrific! I don't feel very hungry. I'm on the puree stage. I make sure I always have a water bottle with and get my protein in. Even my family has lost weight :)

    Liquids don't sit well. Eating makes me nauseous and I still can only eat a few bites. According to my doc, at one month out I should be able to eat several tablespoons of puree food at a time. Because I can't seem to eat or drink enough, I'm not getting enough nutrients and feel awful all the time. Me and this surgery are not friends right now!
