Why are you upset? Because of the supplements and not being able to eat what you want anymore?

I know how you feel! I was very embarrassed and ashamed of myself. Hang in there!

You will be fine.

Best of luck!!

Hi Nish,

We all go through this.. It's the w's. Who, what, when, where, why. When did I gain this much weight. Why couldn't I stop it? Why was I eating? Etc. Most of us are getting this surgery because we have some unsafe connection with food. Yes, I understand the embrassement, which gets worse during the first month post opp. That is also y we r here - ur support group.

Thanks everyone.

DL that was a good and informative video to watch

Leb I think it was realization. Yup I'm fat yup I am morbidly obese I can't do it by myself I have to have surgery. It is embarrassment. Shame. Fear. Scared. Then a Realization it wil actually happen. Everything just hit me at once

He is predicting 4 - 6 weeks before I will have surgery depending on how fast everything else gets in. I had blood work right after that, I was able to schedule the psych appoint for tomorrow morning. A scope on Monday to see if I have a hernia So the last piece of the puzzle will be the nutritionist

Emotional day.......

Maybe this will cheer you up a bit. My starting weight was 260. Surgery day weight 248 (7/2/2012). Today's weight 239! Eleven pounds gone since 7/2! I am on my way....you are too. Hang in there.

Nish,

Hang In there! I can appreciate the feelings heck I am having them too but remember that not everyone has the metabolism of an Asian monkey! That's not your choice that's just the card that was dealt. Come here and write whenever you need! We are here for you!

Heck Nish, you're gonna have most of the hard part over in a couple of days!! LOL!!
