June 19, 201214 yr I am 2 weeks post op and can go in the pool for 20 mins. Are your incisions all closed ? If so you should be good. U may want to check with your surgeon

June 19, 201214 yr My surgeon said it takes four weeks for them to heal all the way even if scab is gone it can still have cracks that bacteria can get into. Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

June 19, 201214 yr I would call your Dr. and see what he/she says. All of them say something different. I had to wait for 2 weeks, but I had an open surgery, and I have my own pooil.
June 19, 201214 yr The first time I went swimming I was about four weeks post op and I was in the pool the whole day lol. Mostly. My incisions were closed and doing great
June 20, 201214 yr I too was told once incisions are closed. A concern us that your skin softens up when you soak in water so even rounds that seem closed could pucker. They advised short amounts of time after about 2 weeks - no hot tubs for awhile for same reason and you can get lightheaded very fast from high temp
