  • ReleighNC, It's just a forum to state what we miss. It doesn't mean we are all eating these things. Plus, we are only humans. Sometimes we have our breaking points where all we want is a taste, but

Just because someone tried something once doesn't mean they are gonna keep doing those bad things I don't feel like I've cheated myself at all I've lost 70 lbs in just 4 short months! I know people that have never cheated and lost less than I have in 4 months.....so you do you and I'll do me and I hate to say it but if you don't want to see what we are subjectin ourselves to than don't read it!

I agree! Close the thread! Only opinion that matters is your own! Vamp, well said.

John, it appears many can't just get along.

I did not react differently or say anything in my post than I would not have said in person.

Although I am deemed as judgemental simply because I expressed my opinion, I find it very interesting that many are doing exact that.

In addition to pretzels and chocolate covered raisins I also miss Bojangles Fried chicken. Having the grilled chicken from the sandwich simply is not the same.

"You do you and I'll do me." Now those are words to live by. Way to go Vamp!!

I understand where Raleigh is coming from. Maybe it xame off as a little harsh bit her intentions were good At two weeks out you should not be trying pizza. If you do this you may not be ready for this journey ofcourse one day down the line most of us will try old favorites again. But it should be a treat not a daily thing that most of us were used to doing. This surgery is just a tool to keep us from doing that for now so when we do have treats we can be conditioned to eat smaller portions. Some of us need tough love. Its like any addiction. You are only going to stop when your ready or hit bottom. And I did. Btw I really really miss Reese's peanut butter cups too.

In my book from the hospital it says peanut butter is a good source of protein. I was going to try it in my shake tonight. What do you all think about it? I know it has sugar so I'm uncertain.

Just start with one tablespoon and see how it goes. That is what my nutritionist told me to do and I have not had any problems. Mix it with chocolate protein and you might feel like you are having a peanut butter cup!

Peanut butter is a good source of protein. You just have to sure not to get the pb with sugar. Also there is a powdered peanut butter called PB2 that you can use to add to the shakes. Way less fat.

I can have natural peanut butter. I ate some the other day off a spoon. Lol. I will try to mix it with my protein shake tomorrow. Having a hard time getting them in. They kinda make me sick.

I just read this thread in its entirety and I'm lmao! Its absolutely hilarious! Of course I'm the type of person that can find humor in anything and towards the end it was nice to see that the tone has changed: ). Everyone's emotions are running high because were burning fat! Easy does it! :D
