Tough love ...close the thread If you don't want to read it. Two weeks out and you are trying to eat pizza? And people are trying to drink sodas and have junk food? NEVER NEVER NEVER miss a meal t

  • ReleighNC, It's just a forum to state what we miss. It doesn't mean we are all eating these things. Plus, we are only humans. Sometimes we have our breaking points where all we want is a taste, but

girls will be girls! lol

I have to admit, the tone change WAS kinda funny!

Sweet

I really miss sushi and the cheesecake factory but not really hungry its been 3 weeks today since surgery I haven't really had anything to eat just a little protein because I don't want to get sick and I don't want to mess up anything they did in the surgery

It took me about 5 weeks before I had my first feeling of being hungry. Focusing on your proton is the most important thing. Just follow your nutritionist schedule for relearning to eat and you will be found. .

John' date=' it appears many can't just get along.

I did not react differently or say anything in my post than I would not have said in person.

Although I am deemed as judgemental simply because I expressed my opinion, I find it very interesting that many are doing exact that.

In addition to pretzels and chocolate covered raisins I also miss Bojangles Friedha chicken. Having the grilled chicken from the sandwich simply is not the same.

I just read this thread in its entirety and I'm lmao! Its absolutely hilarious! Of course I'm the type of person that can find humor in anything and towards the end it was nice to see that the tone has changed: ). Everyone's emotions are running high because were burning fat! Easy does it! :D

Great advice 3 weeks since surgery I am afraid to do anything I know I don't eat enough advice

What helps me is to keep a log of what I'm eating and since it's tough to eat a lot, find things that are really high in Protein so you get all your protein but eat less. Like yesterday I had a lobster tail. It's kinda small but had 35g of protein! Hope that helps hon :)

Great advice!! I use an app called "Tap and Track" on my iphone and absolutely love it. I fully expect to be using it (or some app) for the rest of my life. The ability to see where you're at anytime, anywhere is a very powerful tool. I know lots of folks use "My Fitness Pal" and I've never read a bad review. Fish, turkey and chicken are pretty tough to beat when it comes to getting your protein.

I miss burgers, and the funny thing is I didn't really eat them much before the surgery. I have found a wonderful snack full of protein. Soy beans in the pod, they come in a little snack size (meal size for post ops) bag you throw in the microwave to steam. After they are done just sprinkle with seasoning of choice and pop em out of the pod! Wonderful texture and taste!

Oh and
