Still In Hospital

Hello everyone. I am 2days post op. I don't feel too bad just a little sore. I'm still in the hospital because I have a fever. Otherwise I'm doing good.

Hey. I'm still in the hospital as well. I'm supposed to be getting out in a few hours. So how r u feeling? I couldn't hold down an ice chip first night. Yesterday was better. The nausea went away for a bit. Had a lot of pain on my left side. They said that's normal. I hope your doing well

Thank you all. I feeling fine except I developed a head cold. How do you go to the hospital and get sick. Lol. I'm just waiting on the doctor to release me. I miss my bed so much.

I have a question. Were all you guys expecting to stay in the hospital? or were you supposed to be outpatient?

Panda I'm not having any complications from the surgery. I have this darn head cold and the doctor isn't allowing me to take anything but Tylenol. I also had an allergic reaction from something. I was like this is not supposed to be happening. Anyway I'm feeling good besides the cold and I'm tolerating the clear liquids very well. I had spoken to a friend of mines whose had the surgery done and I asked her about sipping the liquids. She told me to sip like your sipping something hot. It works very well.

I was supposed to stay one day but had a fever so I had to stay. As mad as I was at my surgeon I am also grateful. He told me if I wasn't 100% that I would not be going home. So then they took blood cultures and chest X-rays and everything came back good. My doctor wanted to make sure there were no leaks or signs of infection.

Well that's good there are no complications...you must have really good insurance;) lol! Just kidding. Better safe than sorry...get he soon! Praying for your speedy release:)
