Hello everyone. I am one day post op and doing great! This went so much better then i thot it would.

Congrats and welcome to this awesome group. You will find the answers you need here. I have learned so much from this forum. I usually check in atleast three times a day to see what everyone is up to and what else I can learn. I have 8 days before my surgery and I'm ok. If I didn't have all of this information I probably would be crazy by now. Lol. Please keep us updated.

Hey there! Awesome a area pal! I had mine at Duke. I did not think the surgery was an option for me due to horrible reflux problems. But when I began to develope scarring in my esophagus from the acid I was referred for it as a fix for reflux. After surgery I was told I also had a hiatal hernias where 20% of my stomach was in my throat!

I have not had a stomach ache since two days after the surgery.

Such a blessing and I consider the weightless a gift from God for the years of suffering with the stomach problems.
