  1. I have not tried this as i am still puree/soft food phase but thought this was a very interesting way to use Protein powder. Its a pancake 1 scoop of pure protein whey powder 1 oz of Water Mix to the consistancy of a pancake. Add mixture to non-stick skillet on med heat, cook 1-2 minutes on each side so not to dry it out. Its 120 cal, 1.5g fat, 23g of protein.
  2. Hi everyone i am 17 days post-op and doing great. I have been so blessed that i have tolerated everything i tried so far. I started the puree stage and its going better than expected. I go to the gym five days a week and am super excited to start the week back to my regular gym routine. Today is lower body and cardio, yay!!! I am still a week out from my ab routine but thats ok.
  3. Don't worry it will come off just keep doing what your doing. I am not quite three weeks post and down six lbs. i have noticed that i am losing inches. I know its fustrating to see other folks that at this point have lost 20 to 25 lbs. just remember we are all different and each experience will be different. This is why i am not discourage. Much continued success to you!!

  11. Well, its finally here tomorrow I start my new journey. My kids were a little freaked at me having the surgery on Friday the 13th. But I told them there were times when i felt everyday was Friday the 13th. Like every time i walked into a room stood in the corner instead of taking a seat be i was afraid i would not fit, because that would be just my luck. I am so excited i cant hardily wait.

  13. Hi everyone, this is my very first post. I am schedule to have bypass surgery April 13th. I am a little nervous as the time approaches. I am not as nervous abt the surgery as i am abt what comes after. Excerising is not an issue as its how i lost 120lbs on my own since 2008. I am more concerned abt the diet after. Reading over all the information i was not clear on a couple of things. I have identified the protien shakes that i like, but when i am in stage 2(full liquids) am i only to do the shakes, broth, sf Gelatin and popicles for two weeks or can i incorporate lf/sf yogurts and puddings and strained cream Soups?
