Everyone's diet is different.... But probably not.

It's too thick and lumpy, don't push yourself too much just yet

I put my pack of instant oatmeal in my nutri bullet before I mix it with the milk until it's ground to a powder and it works greatfor me!

How many days do you have?

. I'm on day 5 right now. My doc says I can have oatmeal but it has to be blended and thinned.

When I was banded, I used the different baby food cereals, oatmeal with mixed fruit or with bananas... A week out. But this time having had the sleeve (and only one week out), my post op diet doesn't included it at all.

Cream of wheat has not given me any issues

I can have weight control oatmeal when I start my fourth week out. :)

I'm allowed plain oatmeal at week 3. I can eat cream of wheat/farina now at 1 week post op. Maybe try that instead?

Cream of wheat with Protein powder was great for me.

I could have steel cut oats starting the 3rd week.

Actually ate low sugar instant oatmeal for the 1st time today and I'm 7 days post op. It's on my list of can have's, just thinned a bit with water. Wasn't able to eat but a 1/2 cup cooked but it was the best oatmeal I've ever had! So glad to be off clears liquids!

I had porridge (which I think is what Americans call steel cut oats) within the first week. It was on my plan and helped with post OP constipation too. However everyone has a different plan so follow what your NUT/ surgeon recommends.
