  1. I was off week and a half. Almost too soon. Was exhausted and my incision hurt. ( I'm a teacher) too much bending.....
  2. I've never stopped having hot sauce. Not a problem for me. Wings should be fine. Even if it has some butter as well remember we need some fat in our diets
  3. Premier protien drinks. 30 grams of protien a serving. Injury is awful
  4. My baby is a roadstar 1700. Cruiser. Adore it
  5. Interesting that everyone wants to loose weight, and to be healthy , maybe more beautiful. Then , as we look for non judgemental support on this forum we innocently get blindsided by the Jerry Springer show. Subjected to the inner ugly from a"few". Losing weight isn't going to fix the inside boys. Eat what you want. Everything in Moderation folks. This is a lifetime shift. You'll all do fine. Like I tell my kindergartners ... Be nice
  6. Cream of wheat has not given me any issues
  7. I also pat my stomach if I feel a little too full. Tiny sips of water also seems to help push it thru
  8. i Hey Xavtay2 , you and I are rolling about the same. Sw pre op 261... Surgery 9/3 w- 245.... 3 weeks out 232 .
  9. I too had total knee replacement two years ago and a "clean out" on the left this summer. Not wanting another knee replacement for a long time I opted for the sleeve . Ortho said h Each pound we lose is twenty lbs of pressure on those joints. Since I have lost 43 since meniscus surgery I took almost 900 lbs of pressure off those poor knees. Left knee is so much better!!!
  10. Do what you can to take something to say and your insides. I just went through that this past week. I was sleeved on the third. Was going but very little. Yesterday was this capper. It was a flipping nightmare. So do what you can to keep things soft. We are not getting enough fat or fluids to keep everything moving. So ask your doctor what you should take. It's really ugly if it's if you haven't gone for a long time
  11. Almost two weeks post op here. Today the diet got to me. Am worried about the low caloric intake. No room for more.actually felt small pangs of hunger today. Glad to see family. Lets keep in touch. 24 lbs out since first doc visit. 8 post op.
  12. Treewithano@gmail.com please send me an invite to the sept group
  13. Bgood you will do great. We re here for you!
  14. Huskers, I was a diet coke fool. Dropped pop a year and a half ago. Realized I didn't need the caffeine but like a glass of unsweetened ice tea in the am every so often. ... Congrats on cutting pop out.
  15. Ok new port richey folks! I'm in saint Pete and just was sleeved on Sept third. I wasn't real hip on taking extra time to go to a support group but realized I "go" every day coming to this forum. Feel free to contact me privately but honestly people on this site have helped me with so many nutritional, emotional , and medical worries pre and post. You'll be fine. Let your excitement shine thru girl
  16. Sept third here. Went back to work for half a day after one week. Decided I needed a few extra days but otherwise all is good. Good luck everyone. Best advice... Drink slowly !!!! Cramps not worth it
  17. I have been able to do the stars . No issue. A babel cheese, I just make sure I'm not swallowing big chunks. I just couldn't handle only drinking now that I'm feeling better. Oh my abdomen hurts but I can tell my actual stomach is healing.1
