I cant stand liquids

Been on liquids 2 weeks pre op + 1 week post op.... I cant do it anymore. Someone else feels the same?

You can get a leak if you eat? What about pureed? Omg please tell me more about this so i can hang in there a little more

My program was as follows;

2 week before surgery - Meal Replacement shakes

Day before surgery- Clear Liquids

Post-op

Week 1 -2: liquid diet

Week 3: pureed phase

Week 4 - 5: soft food

Week 6 and beyond: all food as tolerated

The time feels like forever now, but you'll be on soft foods in no time.

I know :( thanks for the advice! I just want to be in pureed so fast.. I could even do a month pureed but no more liquids!

If you go too fast you can cause a hole between staples or displace the staples which can lead to a hole and a leak. You dont want this...its no good.
