I'm 3 days out and just wondered when you finally see the weight drop? So far, no movement.

I would recommend not stepping on the scale until 2 weeks.

Hang in there, it will get so much better and the weight will come off, it has no choice. :)

Thanks. It's like I knew that, but I guess I just needed to hear it from "Forum" friends.

The first week is tough. Glad you are doing well. :)

I think everyone is different. I was scared to weigh in at my first post op visit because of this and I lost 9#

You're doing great annie! Ill see you on the losers bench on monday! So proud of you.

My weight dropped by almost a lb every other day the 1st couple wks. Then it started slowing. Now I'm happy to see a 1 lb loss in a week.

Give it at least another week...

It varies a lot from person to person. If you won't let the scales drive you crazy then you can weigh everyday, and in a few days I'm sure you'll see your weight start to drop off. If stepping on the scales and not seeing a drop bothers you then I suggest that you weigh only once a week. I'm about 7 weeks out, and the longest that I have gone without losing any weight was 4 days.
