Is something wrong

I am 1 week post op today. The morning of my surgery I weighed 582lbs. This morning my scale reads 550. Is my scale broke or am I doing something wrong? This just doesn't seem real.

How much did you weigh pre op?

The more obese, the faster/greater the loss (with exceptions). Keep strictly following your program and best of luck!!!

Be prepared to get a new wardrobe several times

Wow that is great!!!

How long did you have to do pre op diet? I only ask because I started at 399 and my doctor had me do a 37 day pre op diet. I still have 10 days to go. I have lost 23 pounds. I hope I still have a huge weight loss like you after surgery.

My doctor didn't require it a pre-op diet. I was shocked when I weighed in on surgery day.

My surgery weight was 470 and I lost 21lbs in my first week. So that is a very possible number! My numbers haven't been quite as impressive in following weeks but have logged some type of loss each week ranging from 0.4-12! Keep up the great work! I'm down 75 lbs in 16 weeks, I'm happy with my steady pace :)
