Exercise

How long did you guys wait to exercise? I'm almost 5 weeks out and my Doc cleared me to exercise at 2 weeks out but my incision is an open hole and leaking constantly so I'm nervous to workout and make it worse. I'm trying to let it heal but I want to work out to help weight loss. I've only lost 11lbs since surgery on August 19.

I think if I had an incision open and draining after one month I would seek revaluation from another dr. Before doing anything more than walking.

I would say at least 6 weeks for a surgery to be safe but I'm not a MD.
