When do the "bubble guts" go away?

Everything that I drink makes my new tummy (4 days post op) feel like I have bubbles rolling around in there.

When does this go away?

  • It took about 3-4 weeks. My kids loved the sound effects while they lasted. The puppy, not so much.

I hope soon cause I have the same

I am 5 weeks out and mine still does it. It's so odd. I will never get used to it. I hope other people don't notice it.

Yes it does go away but I can say that i am two weeks out and it does not feel the same way it did when I first came home. Now I dont notice it so much as I did before but remember to sip, sip, sip or you will feel like you are trying to swallow large gum balls whole.

Things like this do all go away with time, however I can't tell you exactly how long it will take as everyone is different. I personally think that for me that feeling went away at about 3 weeks out. Good Luck.

It was about a week for me, and then only when I introduced a new food.

The real bad sounds went away after a month for me. However I am more then two years out now, and my tummy can still make some loud noises. Usually happens when I haven't eaten in a while, and then drink water instead of feeding it. It doesn't really bother me anymore....but it can be embarrassing when other people hear it. I just blame it on not eating for to long. Lol
