So the flooding in Northern CO has gotten really bad. Basically there is no way today over the river and we are supposed to continue to get more rain off and off for the next 3 days. My hospital is over the river. I hope that 1st no one loses their more property or life in this flood and 2nd that is receded enough for me to get to the hospital on Monday. I do not want to delay the surgery. Over course being the worrier I am, I worry that if it is delayed how long will it be delayed. It is so hard to wait and wonder

First and foremost YOUR safety is what's important here. I can only imagine how anxious you are, but at this point, the safety of you and the staff is key here. You will get your surgery and everything will be fine! :) I'm sure your surgeon will call you and let you know the status of his surgeries!!

Ditto on your safety being paramount. If your surgery is postponed count it as a blessing. With as unpredictable as flash flooding can be it would almost be better to wait till things calm down. That way if you have a complication you will have easy access to the hospital. Praying for your safety and all those affected.

At this moment there are a few roads open to get to the hospital, however there is more flooding predicted for Sat Night. I talked to the Dr and and as long as I can get there, it is on as scheduled. So we will see what time brings. Sadly school is canceled for Monday so that makes things a bit more complicated, I am working on that though. What a roller coaster ride

Hope you can go in as scheduled Suzy. Lots of luck

Yes I too hope that the roads are safe enough for you to use, to enable you to have your surgery as planned.
