I had this feeling for a while after surgery. Never could get an explanation from Doctor. Just kind of brushed it off. So I figured it was normal. It went away after a while.

it's pressure like built up gas... I bet u feel it in ur chest area....I noticed with cold things more in the beginning that it was easily present than other things... right away I used baby gas drops and I would stand a stretch a lot to relieve the pressure now I use the chewable gas pills and keep them in my purse for pressure issues related to food like sometimes when I chew to fast or swallow a to large of a piece of food....

I get this feeling when i eat too fast, although not with a popsicle that should melt and move on. the esophagus can spasm if irritated so if you eat the popsicle fast you may want to try to slow it down.

No matter how slow i think i am going, it doesnt seem slow enough.

i will have to take people's comments here to heart and get a timer so i can wait between bites.
