Hey guys, hope you're not feeling too rough. When I first came out of surgery I thought ' oh my god, I've made a huge mistake' it felt so bad. But one week later and feel so so so much better! Hope you all make a rapid recovery! X

WOOHOO! I'm a sleeved woman!! :)

That being said, I think I'm doing ok. :)

I've been up to walk 4 times already, pain medicine is working wonders and the gas pains are actually worse than the incision pains!

So far so good... just REALLY thirsty!!

I am on day one of my pre_op diet. I'm doing the bariessentials shake 4x a day and broth sf jello and ad Popsicles. I've have had this headache for couple hours now. I get sleeve on 26th so 6 more days on this!! I hear it gets easier after a couple of days.. Any suggestions?

It does get easier, for me it did anyways.

I had the headaches also, I think from no sugar no caffeine and just plain nothing! HA! :)

I started seeing some lbs coming off and that got me really excited, and my energy picked up a little also!

Hey yall!! Today is the day! I go in at noon. Keep myself and all those being sleeved today in your prayers please.

I, ve survived yay lol, yesterday I was pretty much out of it all day and night, remember coming round and was freezing and nausea, they gave me something and I was just in and out of sleep, today I got up had a shower, and i, ve been walking around whenever i, ve had a bit of gas pain, got to say its not been too bad, just been sipping water and tea all day, tried a bit of brothe but couldn't manage more than a couple of spoonfuls having a fruit smoothie in the morning :-D cant wait after nothing but milk and yoghurt pre diet, hows all you guys doing? Hope its all gone well every1 and goodluck any1 having it soon :-D

You know, the strange thing is, I had no gas pains at all! Very odd. Mind you, I was burping for Britain afterwards! Lol! I had the single incision procedure, I wonder if that made a difference? Answers on postcard please....:-)

The gas pain wasn't so bad yesterday as it was today! After I passed the leak test and started sipping water...that's when it really started to effect me!

I have 5 incision sites, wish I would've been able to only have 1! :)

Apparently there is only a handful of surgeons in the UK that can do single incision. I was lucky that one that does came highly recommended and has such a genuine interest in helping beat obesity he charges less than many others charge for the 5 port procedure to make it more affordable. A really decent guy!

Praying for you :-)

How did the sugery go for everyone my was good just having alot of vomiting and nausea anybody having any of this problem

My recovery has been much tougher than I expected. :( I was in the hospital 3 days, two nights. LOTS of gas pain; couldn't pee, so they had to insert a catheter. The smallest sips of anything (including water) make me dry heave which is incredibly painful. My poor mom is doing everything she can to make me comfortable, but I'm still in so much pain. She is trying to push fluids, but every time I try I get the worst heartburn feeling ever and nausea. Been walking a lot but it doesn't seem to help much...the doctor said my surgery went "beautifully" and that he "couldn't have made a nicer sleeve"...just wish I was feeling better. :( How is everyone else doing?

Did they give you any omeprazole? If not, get some fast! That will help the acid and hopefully the nausea. I had bad nausea for the first 4 days. It does pass.

Thanks so much, Chrissy! I do have Prilosec and will make sure to stay on top of that! :)
