Hello all! Boy am I glad to have found y'all. I am nearly 6months post op and I am experiencing awful hair loss. I'm mostly seeing thinning. Have any of you experienced this? Any suggestions?

Hi all! I'm eight weekd out and still stalling. Trying to think positive. Anywho...I'm a rice fanatic but I'm trying new things. Is quinoa ok for us sleevers?

I got it from my local grocery store. It was on the same aisle as the rice. Instead of cooking it with Water I used organic chicken broth. It absorbs flavor very well. Surprisingly, I really like it.

So, I reached 7 weeks on Tuesday and I've come to a stall...plus a 3 pound gain Why does this happen?! Its so frustrating... Any insight?

Hi all! Is anyone having their sleeve done at the Nix in San Antonio Texas? Or had their sleeve done already?

So, I just at a super small salad. I think I may have had one bite too many. I feel sick and like the food won't go down. Should I throw up? I've been struggling with knowing when I'm full. I don't get the "full feeling" anymore.

I was extremely nauseous with dry heeving for the first day and a half. It'll pass. Be strong! Praying for you.

I'm 3 weeks out and I must say I expected to have lost more than I have. Day of surgery I was 240....today I am 225. Is this good weight loss? I know everyone loses differently, but I have neen following my diet to a tee. My weight keeps fluctuating. Ill lose then gain a few. I thought this didn't happen until later on. Any advice?

Hey yall! Does anyone know who long one should wait to have a glass of wine?

I feel the same way. I am a little over a week out, and haven't had any issues. Never needed pain meds in hospital or at home. I was actually thinking to myself today if I was REALLY sleeved.

Its amazing to see the different liquid diets people are on. I WISH my doc would allow me to have yogurt. I have my one week follow up tomorrow, and I pray that by some miracle my doc says "go ahead and have some yogurt" I'd be so happy, I'd cry!

Oh goodness am I glad I'm not the only one feeling some kinda way about this darn "fluids only" post op diet. I'm on day 6 as well, and I predict by weeks end I will lick a hamburger patty or something. This is difficult, but knowing I'm not alone makes it a lil more bearable lol

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share with you all that I just got a call from my advocate, and my surgery has been approved for August 20th!!!! YAY!!!!!! I am so blessed! So, starting today I am on a one week pre op diet until my surgery date. Can anyone share ways they made their shakes taste better? I am drinking the bariatric advantage vanilla and chocolate shakes. The consistency is awful. Any suggestions would be so helpful! Thanks yall!

Hey yall! I'm three days out, and just loving this liquid diet...Lol NOT! What are yall consuming besides the regular protein shake and broth. I need some ideas to shake things up a bit. Thanks in advance
