Hi I am very frustrated. I have had the sleeve 3 yrs ago and I got very close to my goal weight. Then I got a herniated disc in my spine and 2 other vertebrae that are pinching nerves so the dr. Hi everyone! 8-19 was my big day and it went well but I developed a infection in my intestines while in the hospital so I had to stay 5days... I'm just starting to feel a lil better. One of my incisions kills me, when they stitched it closed the dr. Said they must have hit a nerve. Because all my other incisions are fine. Having a lil struggle trying to get my protein in hope everyone else is doing well!!!!

This gas pain is no punk!!!!!!!!

I am scheduled for surgery at 10:15am Monday I have to be there 8:45am chk in...I have been on liquid diet for 2wks they didn't tell me anything different but I can't have anything to drink or eat after midnight before. Can't wait!!!

Yeah I was worried about things people said .. like they couldn't drink the same protein shakes after surgery so I only baught a few just in case! Lol

I'm ready!!! I plan to run to the store over the weekend and get my liquid and chewable vitamins

I start my 2wk liquid diet Monday 8-5. I have surgery on the 19th... I have to go find a protein shake that will not make me sick. Artificial sweeteners make me very nauseous give me migraines. Wish me luck! !

They said they will discuss it all on our visit.... I was not prepared to spend that kind of money

I told them I didn't sign up for that!! Lol. But they are very firm that I have to use theirs.

Hi my Sleeve family ..... I got my surgery date! August 19th!!!!

Ok I have done 6mnth doc diet Had first consult with surgeon Seen nut Met with exercise therapist Had EKG Did ultrasound of my kidneys liver and gall bladder Had psyc eval done Did my upper gi done with biopsy (passed everything above) Did sleep study and on Tuesday I pick up my Cpap machine Now I have to go to one of the support group meetings and its not scheduled till 6-19 And follow up with pulmonologist 6-28 so they can read my Cpap machine card..... can anyone take a guess when I should get my surgery date??? Inquiring minds would like to know lol

Mine went fine it was 45 mins of just making sure i knew what I was doing. Thanks for all the feedback
