Slow eater?

I've noticed that I need to eat really really slow in very small pieces in order to keep anything down. Is this normal! I'm 7 months post op.

I'm almost 6 months out and I have to eat very slow....it's kinda funny I have 1/8 of what my fmily does and I take longer to eat. It's ok though, take your time...I figure there's no need to rush!

As with so many things I think this will vary by the person. I personally can eat fast without upsetting my stomach, although I have to be very careful not to eat to much when I do that. But, I know a lot of people who have had problems with getting nauseated when they eat fast. So my advice is to stick with what works for you. Good Luck.

I can not eat slow! I always finish my meals really quick! Meal times are really boring for me now! :P Do what you have to do. Good luck!

I use a stopwatch timer on my phone when I eat and I time myself to take a bite every 5 minutes. It really helps me to eat slowly. I also use a timer when I am drinking to remind me to sip- it really helps me to get in my fluids and protein every day.
