When do u stop losing?

I'm just wondering how your body settles on a weight? I feel like at 800 calories I would lose down to 120 or so, which is was too small for being 5'9. Do you up calories to a maintanence range when you reach goal? What if my goal is not necessarily a good weight by doc standards? I would like to be about 180, I prefer to keep a little bit curvy, I weighed 180 before and looked fantastic. My surgeons goal for me is 140. Do I just up my calories when I get to 180?

I realize I post multiple questions a day lol. I have nobody else to ask!
