Travel after surgery

I am in the researching phase but 98% settled on sleeve. The surgeon said I could go in October. I have a cruise booked thanksgiving week. Will I be ok to travel 3-7 weeks out?

i was sleeved on the 17th of july and was back to work on the 22nd of july .. no lifting involved ..but at work . i have lost all the pain from surgery at two weeks . i have a bobcat that i have been running and those things shake you around ..doing fine . Good Luck

Depends on your healing and your Dr. I was out of work for a month. We're all different.

One thing to keep in mind, will you be able to eat anything on the cruise during your puree and liquid phases? I know cruises are all about the food and you will want to make sure you have options that are healthy and also that the staff can accommodate your dietary needs.

lol, I am thinking that the food on the cruise should be ok... lot's of soups and the like to choose from. I'm sure I could find something suitable!

I would not want to travel at 3 weeks out. 7 weeks yes.
