Bald

Am I the only one afraid to go bald? My hair loss has been ongoing for 2 months and it doesn't seem like its going to stop any time soon. Suggestions? Thoughts? Experiences? Advice? Something!

Just posted almost the same thing but I'm pre n I think we are looking for the same answers.. Hopefully some one will help u and I :)

Biotin works!!! I'm taking it plus ur multivitamins will help too.. Doc said will fall a lil bec of the diet change but it should get better with multivitamins and biotin!! I was worried too!

theres another topic with this same thing that i posted on. it thins out but grows back, try not to worry about. believe me when i was much heavier my hair was my lions mane, my pride and joy cause I was so fat the only thing U could make beautiful was my hair. now I have lost about 1/3 to

1/2: I'm on biotin vit, etc. its thin but i'm nor close to bald

thank you.. thats exactly how i feel about my hair.. but your right.. i saw your pic and your hair looks great! so i am hoping for the same outcome

I take 5,000 mcg biotin daily. It can't hurt. (Not sure how much it helps, though, either). Not everyone will lose hair, but a lot of us do. I cut my hair into a short pixie (because I really wanted to but wouldn't do it when I was obese) and although it is thin I definitely am not bald. It is worth it for the way I feel alive again having lost so much weight!

I take biotin 5000 mcg daily. I always get all my protein in, but my hair fell out pretty badly. I'm 7 months out, and it's mostly stopped, though it still comes out a little faster than before surgery. I can see lots of new growth, but I imagine it's going to another 6 months before that gets long and thick enough to do any good. My hair wasn't very thick before surgery, and I think I might have lost about 1/3 -1/2, and I'm not bald either. However, I do have some areas where my scalp shows, so I've been using Bosley fibers, which work wonders to give the appearance of thicker hair.

Mine has been falling out about a month now. I cringe every time I wash or comb it. I've taken biotin for years.. It really does help. Just hoping this shedding phase won't last much longer!

My hair has been coming out for a year and hasn't stoped, I hope it does soon.
