I'm 3 yrs out and it stil tastes yucky to me. I think my tastebuds got changed and don't stimulate my brain. I don't know. I was 295lbs with diabetes and high blood pressure so VSG fixed that. Yay!!

I'm 3 yrs out and it stil tastes yucky to me. I think my tastebuds got changed and don't stimulate my brain. I don't know. I was 295lbs with diabetes and high blood pressure so VSG fixed that. Yay!! But my taste buds are all different. Anyone else out there? I don't enjoy food. Can your brain disconnect the joy part?

Totally normal. At 4.5 months out I don't like sweets, bread, pasta and more. But it's not a lost because I didn't need them anyway. But everyone is different. Your taste buds will improve.
