Pain

I am 4 mo out on 12th and 57lbs down I carry most of my weight in my belly. It hangs now...I do workout 3-4 times a week but I feel pain in my sides and under the flap I guess u would call it..is this common? I think from it hanging so much it's pulling? I also have lots of redness under the flap any tips to help? It's embarrassing to share but idk going to dr in few weeks so will ask also.

Did you try light compression garments?- might not sound fun, but it could help.

You may well have an infection in the skin fold/flap... Thrush perhaps? Can probably get canestan cream (or another thrush treatment "over the counter", and it should do no harm between now and when you get to see the doctor.

Try to powder that area to keep it dry.

You should most defiantly see your doctor. Keep seeing him/her and get documentation. If you are having problems with skin you could probably get your insurance company to pay for your skin removal.

Be persistent.

That's exactly right. See your doctor every time you have a skin infection so the problems caused by your excess skin will be documented.
