After months of emotional ups and downs, sleepless nights and bungling medical office staff I have finally gotten a surgery date. I will get sleeved on the 24th of July at 11:00 am. Its funny, the attitudes of all of my doctors support staff changed as soon as the approval came through. I had a appointment with my endochronologist at 9:00 am and went over last minute details with my insulin pump instructions, then at 1:00 pm had a two hour nutritional and surgery update so all of the patients having surgery on my same day gets their final marching orders. I am so pumped, excited and totally willing to start my journey. I can't wait for Thursday nights support group meeting and tell everyone. I have many friends and my lovely wife is fully in support of my decision and all is well. I also want to thank all of you for your support and kind words and your wisdom for the gastric sleeve journey.
