Just sleeved on July 3 (yay!!) and was told not to lift anything heavier then a gallon of milk until my check up on the 15th. Anyone else have different lifting limitations? Is my doctor just being conservative? My one year old stood at my feet and cried hysterically waiting for my to pick him up. It was heart wrenching. He's about 23lbs. My husband put him on my lap so I could rock him to sleep, but the second my husband tried to take him to put him in his crib he screamed and cried hysterically
. I obviously don't want to do any damage internally, but it's so hard watching your child cry and not understand why mommy can't pick him up
. During the day isn't so bad, but nap and bed time is horrible.
