I will have to stop taking mine a month before and a month after to reduce chance of blood clots. Not happy about it but following orders none the less.

My doctor said that I can keep taking it. He said that I may just miss a few pills in the days after surgery when I can't take them. He said that because of my age (25), he said it was ok. Maybe if I was a little older or had other risk factors of getting a blood clot, his answer would have been different.

I had to stop today, two weeks before surgery because of the risk of blood clots. They said I can start taking it again about 4 weeks post op.

No not @ all, I went to my pre op appt today and they said nothing abt it, I even tld them that my "ring" wld be in @ the time of surgery n they said nothing. Do u or did u smoke?

Yes, I'm on nuvaring and have to stop 10 days before
