Surgery is a big deal and you have every right to be scared. Just put your trust in the doctor and hospital, take deep calming breaths. We are all here for you. Let us know how you are doing as soon as you can.

Thanks everyone I'm upstairs in holding yikes! More fearful of the pain & nausea afterwards.

Trust that your doctor will do the best surgery s/he can and that you will get the best aftercare they can give! No one wants you in pain and no one wants you vomiting - you'll do great!

P.S. I had my LB removed in March - I thought that was the best day of my WLS life until I got the sleeve last Friday. I was too excited about it to be nervous!! Finally, I was getting the WLS that would change my life...which is what I thought I was in for 3+ years ago with the LB!

Joia I agree! Removing my band was such a relieving surgery. The nurse that just left told me she was sleeved in Jan. She reassured me that everything will be just fine. Now I'm excited!!!!
