Is this normal my tummy is still sore espically on my right side. I don't notice it as much until I go to stand up or roll over. Not sure if I'm just looking for problems due to major complications with the band, so just checking to see if I'm being a baby or if it is normal. Thanks

I'm 3wks po and still a bit sore on my right side. It gets a little better every day.

I agree with chardgrl I am still slightly sore on my right side as well...Each day is better than the day before.

It took me almost exactly four weeks for the soreness to go away. Once that internal stitch dissolved everything felt better immediately.

mine was taken out on the left side. not sure if it's just surgeon preference or what!

I had mine taken out on the left as well - thanks for asking this question though as it's been something I've been wondering about too since there seems to be a mix of both sides

Mine came out through my belly button incision. Oh yeah it is numb and sore at the same time.

Belly button incision is about an inch bigger than all the rest.

There are two surgeons at the hospital where I was sleeved. One takes it out on the right the other on the left. Mine was on the right, I was sore for about 6 weeks. I'm 14 weeks out today and down 80 lbs and feeling great.

How do you know where it was taken out? Just the larger incision? My largest was like an inch and that was in the middle, the rest are a half inch or less
