Day 5 post op - i feel somewhat human !

Wow - what a difference a few days makes....

Woke up feeling not hungry, happy and relatively pain free. Crazy how fast that turned around.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Yay! That was about when I felt fabulous. Still got exhausted easily but I felt, as you put it, "human" again LOL

Yay! I can't wait for that! I'm 2 days post-op and feel much more human tonight than I have. I know recovery takes time, so I plan to do nothing more than hang out on the couch with my water and protein shakes for the rest of the week :)

That's all I've done, save a trip to the grocery store.... :0)

I am thrilled for you! I am 4 days post-op and feel pretty good EXCEPT for the fact that my largest incision burns and stings like crazy when I am on my feet. I have to support it with my open hand while I am up. Did anyone experience this your first few days? If so, how long did it last?

I have been walking 10-15 minutes 3 times a day. I a 55, so probably older that many of you. I would love to hear your experience.
