I was supposed to go home today by my H&H dropped from a 10.2 to a 8.6 could be the IV fluids or a bleed Scared!!! Has this happened to anyone else ?

Hang in there and be glad they just didn't send you home to worry. Regardless of the reason.. You're in the right place if there's anything to worry about. Like they said it could be either ne... Or none,maybe. Glad they're on top of it though.

It has not happened to me and I am sorry it has you freaked out. I imagine your doc may run additional tests to determine whether there is an underlying disease causing your low hemo & crit. If there isn't an underlying disease cause, it can easily be cleared up with supplementation of iron and vitamins. Hang in there.

Well although it hasnt happened to me, I know that this could easily be a scary time. I hope that you are able to just relax and take comfort in knowing that the professionals know what they are doing. I am so glad that they caught it and didnt send you home yet. Just concentrate on that new body and new life! Saying a prayer for you and hoping that you are comforted and at ease today.

Same thing happened to me... had a lot of bruising and my H and H dropped from 10 to 8. DVT prophylaxis stopped. Stayed a couple of extra days and everything resolved on its own.
