Vacation 4-1/2 months post op.

Looking for some advice about a vacation 4-1/2 months after surgery. Our friends invited us to go to Cancun at the end of September. All inclusive, friends are partiers, do you think that's enough time post op to go and be able to have a good time? I plan on partaking in a couple of cocktails (no flames please, I know the consequences) and I know my food intake will be much less. I just want to go and have fun with the group and not stick out like a sore thumb. I'm 2 weeks post op and doing very well. Getting all my Protein, Water, etc in and feeling pain free and great.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I went to the keys a month post op but I didn't drink. If you still are uneasy about it, check with your doctor. I'm sure you'll be fine though.

I say- GO FOR IT! Have fun :)

You'll do fine and have a blast!

I'm 13 weeks post op and had a drink or two and have done fine. Like you i have not had any problems eating or drinking, go and have fun.

I went to Vegas six weeks post op and did fine. I am 41/2 months out now and can handle the alcohol and food fine. Have fun!

You will def be fine. Have a great time!

You'll be fine, enjoy!
