Scars after surgery?

Other than my very small port placement scar, I have next to nothing as far as scarring after my lap band, how does this differ with revision to sleeve?

  • I think every surgeon is different in the way they do the surgery and where the incisions are, but I have 4 very small scars in different places on my belly..

I also have four scars and they are miniscule. I suppose if I were a swimsuit model they would concern me :)

I'm 18+ months post-op. I have 5-6 small scars that have already faded to pretty much nothing and not really able to see them..........even if they weren't covered with hair. ^_^

A few of my lapband scares were reused in my revision. Then big one 1-2 inches long and 4 others including the drain but they are minuscule.

My surgeon also used my old scars however, you can buy OTC silicone strips at the drug store. They cost about 20 bucks but they've really helped get rid of my scars. I'm 6 weeks out btw.
