Snacks

I'm 4 weeks post op and need ideas for snacks to take to work. For some reason ever since I came back to work its a desk job my stomach is growling like crazy and I feel like I'm so hungry. How did you guys feel at 4 weeks and What did you snack on?

I am four weeks too! For snacks I have been eating WW cheese sticks, hummus, watermelon or protein shake.

Soy Latte, greek yogurt with berries and splenda, light cheese sticks, babybel light cheese, low fat turkey lunch meat, tuna with light mayo, Anderson Split Pea Soup, Turkey chili.

baby bel lite cheese.. or walnuts.. or grab a bite of turkey jerky.

At that stage cheese was my best friend. I also liked wheatthins as well for a craving for crunchy.

Laughing cow cheese. Even a couple Ritz. But be careful with those. Sugar free popsicles if you have acces to a freezer. Nuts. Again, be care with nuts.

For crackers, I ate saltines at first. After my stomach healed more, I switched to Special K crackers and other whole grain crackers.

I also eat roasted edamame. If you are not cleared to eat nuts yet, they are a nice substitute.
