Hello how long did the Dr. Order to stay on a liquid diet?? It seems like everyone has different instructions..i went online and it said 2 weeks on liquid, 1 week on puree and 1 week on softfoods.

I am two weeks liquid, two weeks puree, two weeks soft food.

2week liquid (3 days clear) and 2weeks soft .

I was 3 weeks liquid, 1 weeks purée, 1 week soft chopped, then on to normal a little at a time.

My surgery group is very cautious. I had 3 weeks liquid, 3 weeks pureed, 3 weeks super-soft foods.

I am make 10 days liquid then 10 days puréed then now I will start soft or semi solid food next friday

Has anyone ever been more conservative then their doctor? I mentioned in another thread that my doctors approves soft foods after 2 days!! I feel like I'd be muchhhh more comfortable with 2 weeks for liquids, then 2 weeks of purée first.
