H pylori

I went to the doctor and he said before surgery I tested negative but after they did the biopsy on stomach and came out positive. I was wondering if anyone can tell me their experience with this and how long it lasted.

    I had a 14 day antibiotic and it was gone.

    I tested positive for H pylori 2 weeks prior to my surgery. I was put on a 14 day prev pac regimen and took my last dose the day before surgery.

    Agree. 14-day nexium with antibiotic. Easy.
