Sleevers over 300lbs?

  • Popular Post

I notice that must sleeves are in the high 200's but is there anyone who started higher. My weight day off was 362 give or take a pound....my doctor told me the most common procedure for my weight was the bypass but the long term results are very much the same. Im 5'7" but I definitely strated off way bigger than some posts I see...just curious to know I'd I'm alone lol

I was 432. Had surgery on January 30th. Down 100 lbs

  • Started at 496. Day of surgery was 456. One year post op was 200. Now nearly 3 years post op I am 190 to 195. Can the sleeve work for higher weights and BMI? It did for me

Starting weight 410

Current weight 345

Goal weight 180

I was 345 when I started my pre-op diet. I was 315 on the day my surgery (two days ago). My surgeon left the choice up to me. I opted for the sleeve so I could take anti-inflamatory's in the future.

Started 345....3 Weeks out 316!

Started at 446. Was 419 at my surgery Nov 6th. 390 today. My surgeon recommended the sleeve.

Been walking around the neighborhood some lately. It's tough, but worth the effort.

I started this journey at 304. I was sleeved July 1 and am down 70 pounds. It is very slow and I have had a couple of stalls but it's coming. 84 pounds to go!!

Started at 315.6 on April 18, 2013. Today, 7 months later, I've lost 100#!!!! 215 has never felt so good! I haven't been exercising since the end of summer, but I plan to start!

Talk me through what you eat each day....

Sleeved April 2013, weighing 372lbs, now 160lbs lighter and so much happier. My surgeon advised bypass, but I chose the sleeve. Worked for me :)

I started down this path six months ago at 362. Insurance required a six month plan, where I lost 40 lbs. I will be sleeved on Monday 12/23 and looking forward to the best part of the journey!

Current (2 1/2 months post surgery) : 250

Goal : 130

Height : 5'7"

I've lost about 1/3 of all the weight i want to lose

I was sleeved 2-5-13.. Height 5:3 DOS: 307 and today I am 224.. Slow but I am in this game of a healthier me for life.

HW 325. CW 311.1. Having a hard time trying to determine a goal weight. It's been so long since I've weighed a normal weight. At first I said 160. Then, after realizing I can be successful with a sleeve, probably beyond my wildest dreams, I'm going for 140. Anyone else having trouble figuring out how to determine goal????
