4 days, I am 2 wks post op and I usually only go every 4 days. Unless something doesn't agree with me! Which today is yogurt!!!

2 days - right when my doctor told me I would!

It took me 5 days with help! Then I had diarrhea for an extra day. :(

Are you uncomfortable? If so, ask your surgeon about a mild laxative ( i took MOM). If not, give it another day.

Well for me after surgery it's about 10 days but now twice a week!

Same for me. My system was totally empty for surgery so it took time to build back up. My PA told me at my year check up that it is perfectly normal to only go every 3-4 days, something I wish I'd known a lot sooner.

I just went today with the assistance of taking a laxative for 2 days. I was sleeved Friday, so that's 6 days. I've had diarrhea all day today. Ughhh

I had surgery Monday and I just went today.

I had surgery on the 29th and that evening gave me a suppository. On tues gave me a stool softener and I went tues evening. I came home last night about 6 pm

I didn't have to take a laxative prior to surgery (seems pretty common) so it was about 7 days for me and then I took something. During that time one of the bariatric NPs called to check in on me. She asked if I had been able to go yet, and said not to worry about it as there wasn't a whole lot in there anyway.

Constipation is a bad issue for me with weight loss, even prior to surgery. None of my doctors seem to take it very seriously. I've had one say "Well the results justify theside affect right?". I told them that it depended on the day.
