I was in sorta the same boat as you. I went for my initial visit almost 6m ago and they said I had to do 6m of monitored nutrition classes. So I started the classes and thought well I will wait till my 4-5m to set up the rest of my appointments. After going back 2weeks ago to meet the surgeon he talked me into getting the sleeve and told me we would be in overdrive as I only have 6 weeks left of nutritional diet. So now I'm trying to get all my prepping done :)

After much research, I have made the decision. I have selected a surgeon and am waiting for an appointment. My question is about sleep apnea. I have been using a C-Pap for about 8 years. Could you explain what a compliance report is? Also, do you use oxygen with your machine? I do not and have not been for a sleep study since the initial study. Thanks

Sure. First, congrats on your decision.I am getting so excited and really cannot wait!!

My Cpap is 4.5 years old, does not have oxygen connected, just pushes air with or without moisture. It has a computer card that I pull out and take to my pulmonologist or to the supply company and they plug it into a card reader that connects with their computer program and prints out a LOT of pages and a summary page to show how you comply with using your cpap: ex..do you use it every night, how many hours on average do you use it, what was the minimum and maximum usages etc.

My surgeon went page by page through 2 years worth, luckily that was the maximum the pulmo. could print out. :-) then he looked at the summary and said it all looked good. I had 100% compliance...hey, I don't want to risk dying while I am sleeping!! Lol surgery.png?ts=1367035796

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
